Mt Fuji a view from Fuji Safari Park
Happy Golden Week holidays & these are a few pictures of the world renowned Mt. Fuji a view taken from Fuji Safari Park in Shizuoka Prefecture. If you want to enjoy Mount Fuji at a more leisurely pace and from a nice natural surrounding, you should also head to the Fuji Five Lake (Fujigoko) region at the northern foot of the mountain, or to Hakone, a nearby hot-spring resort.
Nakamise shopping street, Asakusa
Good morning from Nakamise street leading to the famous Asakusa Temple in Tokyo. These small stalls lining both side of the street sell all manner of merchandise, ranging from colorful fans, ukiyo-e (woodblock prints), kimono and other robes, Buddhist scrolls, traditional sweets, local T-shirt & etc. It’s a wonderful place to buy some gifts of your visit.
Kaiseki Dish
Kaiseki is a course meal where items are served one at a time. Kaiseki can be eaten at traditional Japanese ryotei restaurants or kaiseki restaurants. Only the finest ingredients are used in the preparation of the meal, and service is almost always excellent, making kaiseki ryori an expensive dining experience.
Nakajima Park, Sapporo
Located in downtown Sapporo, Nakajima Park is a large area of greenery and water with a number of wonderful attractions and cultural facilities. It’s just the right timing now to view the sakura cherry blossoms in Sapporo. The trees are planted along Kamokamo River & some in the park .
Zojo-ji , Tokyo
The main gate of Zojo-ji was built in 1622. It is the family temple of the Tokugawa clan. Zojo-ji is a really picturesque place that it is surrounded by trees and with Tokyo Tower and the Atago Green Hills skyscraper nearby you get a nice feeling as you move from the busy outside world into something more peaceful. The temple is also very close to the Tokyo Prince Hotel.
