Tomita Lavender Farm

Flowers are in full bloom in Tomita Lavender Farm, Hokkaido. Pictures taken at Traditional Lavender Field, Irodoki Field & the Hanabito Field. Best viewing season is from early to mid/end July depending on the garden you visit in the farm. You can also enjoy the cafe, potpourri house,  rich lavender flavored ice-cream & sweets, flower house, perfume workshop & others activities there too.

Tokyo Disneyland Summer 2015

It’s Summer Party at Tokyo Disneyland. This year the theme park also will hold a special event of “DISNEY NATSU MATSURI” – Japanese style summer festival. The event will starts from July 9th – August 31th, 2015. You can experience the energy and excitement as you dance together with the Disney friends. Children can also take park in a special show – “Ondo-Ko-Don!” that features “Mickey Ondo” and “Donald Ondo” dances that they can do with the Disney characters.

Mt. Usu, ropeway

To have a better view of the Lake Toya, you can take a 6 minutes of rope-way ride from Mt. Usu to the summit of the mountain. Upon arrival to the summit, the Lake Toya Observation Deck is on the right, commanding views of Mt. Showa Shinzan and LakeToya. If you have extra time you can also try out the outer rim hiking trail which take an hour for one way hike.

Tomita Farm, Hokkaido

It’s Marine Day a National Holiday in Japan. Have you stay until the closing hour of the Lavendar Farm, Tomita? This is a nice sunset shot taken from Tomita Farm, Hokkaido. From late April – Sept the operational hour  is as early as 8:30am – 5pm.

Nara Park

Nara Park is located in the center of the city of Nara. Many deer graze along the spacious lawns and frolic on the grass. Inside the park area are Todai-ji Temple and many other historic structures. Small streams and ponds add charm to the scenery.
