Kuromon Ichiba Market, Osaka
Kuromon Ichiba Market, a very popular area in Osaka has a more than 190 years of history and tradition. All kinds of fresh food items are available at this market. It is a very lively market about 580 meters long and is packed with approximately 150 shops of mainly fish, meat and vegetables. There are some shops serving lunch for sushi or fresh seafood over rice, also grilled fish, shellfish, meat and other fresh food as well.
Purification water
When you visit a Japanese shrine, you will first encounter with the purification fountain/water near the shrine’s entrance. So what you need to do here is to take one of the ladles provided, fill it with fresh water and rinse both hands. Then transfer some water into your cupped hand, rinse your mouth and spit the water beside the fountain. This is a part of the purification ritual altogether.
Jishu Shrine
Once you pass through the main hall of Kiyomizu Temple, following the path way you will see Jishu Shrine. It is a shrine dedicated to the deity of love. Make your way up the stairs & in front of the shrine there are two stones, placed apart. If you successfully finding your way from one stone to the other stone with your eyes closed is said to bring luck in finding love.

Kiyomizudera is best known for its wooden stage that juts out from its main hall, 13 meters above the hillside below.
