Izu Peninsula
The Izu Peninsula, jutting out into the Pacific Ocean, is famous for its beautiful beaches, many hot springs (onsen) and wonderful scenery. There are few highland resorts like Ito, Atami, Shimoda & other cities that offers stays & hot-spring. You will find white sandy beaches in Shimoda too. The local restaurants offer the freshest fish caught in the local coastal waters.
Kamikochi National Park, Nagano
Kamikochi National Park is covered with virgin forests of birch and Japanese larch trees, and Japanese hemlocks. Considered to be one of the most scenic spots in Japan, many climbers have come to know about this place. The foliage is at its peak in October and many visitors will travel to Kamikochi to admire its beauty.
Awa Dance Festival 2015
One of the most remarkable events in Tokushima Prefecture as part of the Obon Festival. The Awa-Odori is characterized by irregular steps and by the jovial and energetic up-tempo rhythm. Separated into groups of men and women, the dancers parade through the city while dancing to music played on drums, gongs used when praying to Buddha and at festivals, three-stringed Japanese musical instruments, and flutes.
Ninen-zaka street, Kyoto
Ninen-zaka street run from the northwest of Kiyomizu temple. It has a Kyoto’s unique atmosphere, and the total length is about 400 meters. Along the streets, ther are many souvenir shops, the shops of kiyomizu-ware (a pottery created around Kiyomizu temple), tea houses and Japanese restaurants.
