Kuidaore, Osaka
One of the symbols of Osaka is a mechanical doll in Dotonbori, Osaka. Not many people know it is a mascot character of a restaurant behind where stands but those who visit Osaka never forget to take photos with him. The doll has an official name: Kuidaore Taro. Kuidaore means “to ruin oneself by extravagance in food.” He has been there since 1950. Since the owner announced the restaurant would be closing, a lot of individuals and companies from all over the country have offered to buy Kuidaore Taro. Even though the current owner is closing its business, Kuidaore Taro cannot retire yet. The picture shown the famous mascot turns keyholder where you can get in Nanba area in Osaka.

Shinjuku Gyoen Park
Shinjuku Gyoen is a huge park, walkable from JR Shinjuku station. In mid March it is absolutely breathtaking with all sorts of blossoms. It has three distinctive styles: English landscape garden, French formal garden and Japanese traditional garden. There are also greenhouses. Shinjuku Gyoen park is considered to be one of the most important gardens from the Meiji era.
Asahiyama Zoo
Located in the northernmost region of Japan, amidst the beautiful, remote setting of Asahikawa, Asahiyama Zoo is unique for its concept for opening up its zoo exhibits according to the changing seasons. The zoo is perhaps best known for its animals that are housed in a free environment unrestricted by cages. Visitors also get to see the movements and behaviour of the animals up close that offer a generous view. It is the few places you can walk with Penguins is at Asahiyama Zoo in Hokkaido.
Kaiyodo Figure Museum in Kurokabe
The miniature toys that were included as free gifts in sweets, that have become popular in recent years, are exhibited fully in this pavilion. These miniature figures, that depict dinosaurs, heroes, and robots, take visitors into a world of dreams.
