Philosopher’s Path, Kyoto
The path was named tetsugaku-no-michi (Philosopher’s Path) because the famous philosopher Kitaro Nishida often meditated as he walked along it on his way to and from Kyoto University. The path is lined with cherry blossoms, so it is gorgeous during the season. It extends from Ginkakuji Temple all the way past Eikando, near Nanzenji Temple. The walk is really made pleasant when you take the time to visit the sites along the way.
Satomi Park, Chiba

Special Message from Tokyo Tower
This evening between 6:30pm and midnight, the message “kizuna tuyoku” will be displayed across one side of Tokyo Tower’s main viewing platform.Translating literally as “bonds, strong”, the message is intended to remind Tokyoites of those in the northeast whose lives were, in many cases irreparably, altered on that fateful day, and urge them to continue to show support as we approach the disaster’s third anniversary tomorrow.
Minato Mirai, Yokohama
Minato Mirai, officially Minato Mirai 21, is the Central Business District of Yokohama. The area began development in 1983 on what was previously an industrial area. The most prominent building is the Landmark Tower, Yokohama tallest skyscraper, which was completed in 1993 and stands 296-meter.
