Sakura Jinbei flight
Wow! A special collaboration of the famous Chiraumi Aquarium in Okinawa & JAL (JTA) Japan Transocean Air. This flight is named Sakura Jinbei Jet & it is schedule to fly from Okinawa & it’s island to the south part of Japan. Pretty cool isn’t it!
Rikugien Park, Tokyo
The famous “Shidare Sakura” in Rikugien Park, Tokyo. The cherry blossom is forcast to be view from Mar 24th & full bloom on Mar 31th. The light-up of the cherry blossoms give you a total marvelous sight too.
Gingaku-ji, The Silver Pavilion Kyoto
One of the top sights in Kyoto is the UNESCO World Heritage Sight and Japanese National Treasure Ginkaku-ji – the Silver Temple. Ginkaku-ji has a beautiful dry garden (made of white sand), a peaceful pond and a shaded path that winds through a moss-covered, shaded landscape complete with streams and tiny waterfalls.
Chikurinji Temple, Kochi
Chikurinji Temple in Kochi city was built about 1300 years ago to be Japan’s version of the Chinese Chikurinji which was said to be where a Buddhist saint who spoke great wisdom resided. It’s a very peaceful place and has many buildings that make it a nice visit, including a pagoda. The grounds are free, but it costs 400 yen to see the garden and temple treasures. The garden is nice and said to resemble Urado Bay. The treasure house contains statues from the Fujiwara and Kamakura Periods.
Shinkyo Bridge, Nikko
This distinctive red bridge – Shinkyo Bridge is something of a symbol for Nikko. It belongs to the Futarasan Shrine and is the oldest bridge built over a gorge in Japan. It dates originally (in this form) from 1636. In 1902, during restoration works it was destroyed by the river and it was reconstructed in 1904. It is 28 metres long and 7.4 metres wide and spans the river at a height of 10.6 metres above the water. It was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Cultural property in December 1999.
