Centar Gai, Shibuya
The collection of shops and restaurants known as Center Gai, right across the street from the famous Shibuya Scramble intersection, is a chance to experience Tokyo’s cacophony at its most colorful. Just a little distance away from Centar Gai you will see Shibuya 101 building which is famous for teenagers apparels.
Sensoji Temple
Tokyo’s most famous temple, Sensoji Temple & mostly named as Asakusa Temple located in the Asakusa neighborhood, remains one of the best ways to see Japan’s traditional side while staying in the capital. The lighted up temple in the evening give you a different view from the morning crowd of people praying & tourist shopping for sourvenirs. The temple ground is always open but the main hall is open up to 5pm daily.
Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology
Also called the “Toyota Museum,” in Aichi Pref. you can see many models from classic Toyota to the newest & futuristic car. It’s also focusing on the theme of technology and innovation in general.
Nishiki Market, Kyoto
Also known as “Kyoto’s Kitchen,” it’s a great place to pick up ingredients for dinner or soak up the local atmosphere. There are about 130 grocery shops, including seafood shops, lined up on both sides of the narrow street. They are selling Kyoto’s specialties-vegetables, pickles, tofu, dried fish…you can experience the unique food culture of Kyoto in the market. Many shops offer samples for tasting as well.
Shinsaibashi Osaka
Osaka’s Shinsaibashi shopping district has something for just about everyone. As you can see in this photo that shows what appears to be everyone in the city browsing along its covered pedestrian walkway. Along both side of the long street you will find branded goods store, western & japanese style eatery store, fast-food, dessert store, game center & a lot more for you to explore. You will probably need half to one day to slowly walk down the street.
