Shiroi Koibito cookies

Gokoku shrine, Sendai

Gokoku shrines are Shinto shrines, in which soldiers and military personnel are worshiped. In principle there is only one major Gokoku shrine in each prefecture and the honored are Japanese war dead from the same prefecture. Their names are individually listed in the registers of the respective shrines.

Rusutsu Ski Resort, Hokkaido

Maruyama Zoo, Hokkaido

All through the year, Maruyama Zoo in Sapporo is open. In winter, there will be snow festival which is held in the zoo itself. You can observe Polar Bears relaxing on the snow, or how the Red Panda are spending the cold season.
