Tachikawa Showa Kinen Park
A paradise for families, Tachikawa Showa Kinen Park was opened on the site of the old Tachikawa air base in 1983. The park boasts a wide range of facilities, including spacious lawns, wooded areas and seasonal flower gardens. Now you can see the Fall color changes & bonsai beauties.
Hitachi Park – Autumn
Autumn in Hatachi Park – Kochias (summer cypress) blanketed the hillside in crimson. Also accentuates the blooming of the Cosmoses too. This beautiful park situated in Ibaraki Pref. about an hour away from Tokyo by car.
Yumenoshima Tropical Greenhouse Dome
There are 50 giant pumpkins displayed on the lawn at Yumenoshima Tropical Greenhouse Dome, Chiba. You can visit anytime of the year but pre-Halloween you can see the giant pumpkins at the front lawn. If you are here in October feel free to visit, the Botanical garden opens from 9:30am – 5pm.
