Lemon Milk, Tochigi Prefecture

In the Tochigi Prefecture there is a kind of weird drink you can purchase. It’s called lemon milk. You would think that the milk would be sour, but it is surprisingly sweet. My friend explained to me that people from Tochigi don’t like the drink, but people outside of Tochigi love the drink. I thought that was funny fact. If you somehow find this drink in a prefecture souvenir shop or you so happen to stop by somewhere in the Tochigi Prefecture try it and see if it is to your liking.

Table Flip Game

Have you ever been so angry that you just wanted to flip a table? Well in some game centers you can actually flip a virtual table. Your score is based on how much destruction is caused by the table. There are different scenarios as to why you are angry, which in my opinion are hilarious. If you have time to go around an arcade I would recommend trying this game at least once.

Tsukemen Ramen

There are many different kinds of food in Japan. People know the main ones like sushi and ramen right. Well one day in Japan my friend ordered this from a ramen shop. I asked him what it was and he said it’s called tsukemen ramen. It is where you dip the noodles first in the soup then eat it. I thought that looks good and tried it for myself. It was pretty good. If you have had ramen before try this version and see if it is to your liking.

Dragon Ball Soda Cans

In Japan there are many things to do, but one of the goals I had was to collect all these cans. No you can’t get them in a convenience store. Nope they are in various vending machines all over Japan. It so happens that the area I was in had the Dragon Ball set. I was so close to finishing it. Only three more to collect, but sadly there was only so much orange soda I could drink. So if you so happen to see a vending machine look for these limited drinks before they’re gone. Oh and they also had a Dragon Ball Z set out there too.

Omokaru Ishi, Kyoto

Within the Fushimi Inari-Taisha there is something you can try out. It is called Omokaru Ishi, which translates to Heave Light Stone. The way it is works is first you think of your dream either getting a job, passing a test, winning something, etc. then you lift the stone. If the stone is light when you lift it then your dream will come true, but if it is heavy then you’ll have a much harder time achieving your dream. Also it doesn’t matter which stone you lift because both will give you the same result. Trust me I’ve tried. ^-^
