New Kabukiza
In Japan, Kabukiza is one of the most traditional theaters where Kabuki is performed. Woman was not allowed on the stage because it was considered an act to disgrace the stage.
The Kabukiza was built in 1889 in the Meiji period for only Kabuki performances. Although it burned down several times because of an earthquake and the Pacific War, Kabuki-za was rebuilt each time. There has been undergoing restoration at Kabukiza since 2010 and will open on April 2nd, 2013. A new building which will be a Kabukiza’s museum is built the next to the Kabukiza and called “Kabukiza Tower.” Visiting there, you will know about Kabukiza more than Japanese do. So, you can teach them.
“Chapatsu” or Brown Dyed Hair

Chapatsu is hair that has been dyed or bleached to make it brown, and it has now won widespread junior high and high school students acceptance. But, some elderly people still equate chapatsu with delinquency. So, when younger people with chapatsu go job hunting, they change their hair color black and change back it brown as soon as they finish their job-hunting.
“Chapatsu” means dyed or bleached brown hair while “Purin” or “Flan” means dyed hair after the black roots have started growing out again. The hair is partly black and partly brown becuase of the color which looks like a flan with syrup.
Nowadays, a “black hair recurrence” is tread in Japan especially among young women who have dyed their hair brown.

In my blog, I wrote that we have a lot of snow this year. But, I just found the flower which survives in the cold weather and tells us the spring arrival. It is called “Fukujuso.” The size of this flower is small as coins, and it blooms throughout Japan this time of the year and well-known as the messengers tell of arrival of spring. When I went back to see it after the lunch, with the melting of the snow, I enjoyed the coming of spring.
The most famous station
That is Yagisama station near my house and is especially nostalgic attractions and unattended station. But, it is very well-known station for useing for movies, promotion vides and TV commercials since old days. Now, it is also used for the most popular singer group, AKB48. You can compare it with your own eyes with in the movies.

Today, I used a rice-milling machines near my house. It is very easy to use it. You just need to pour the rice into the machine and just push the button. It takes only a few minutes and takes only 500 yen or $5. You can find it easily especially in rural areas. Those who are concerned about health often find it useful. To use a rice-milling machines just before they eat became more popular than ever before because it is healthier, and rice tastes best right after milling. You got to try the machine and taste it.
