“Kawazu Nanadaru” – The Seven Waterfalls of Kawazu
Kawazu Nanadaru is located in the mountains above Kawazu Town in southeastern, approximately 30-minute bus ride from Kawazu train station.
You can view seven distinctive waterfalls while going to Kawazu Nanadaru.

In April 2011, a rare suspension bridge with stairs was built on a trail that connects Kawazu Nanadaru and Sarutabuchi at upstream of the seven waterfalls.
I had relaxed time at Kawazu Nanadaru by taking hot spring after this….so good.

Tokyo Disneyland
I went to Tokyo Disneyland in Golden Week with my family.
Tokyo Disney Resort opened on April 15, 1983 with Tokyo Disneyland Park. So, it is the 30th anniversary now. They have 115 acres of total area and about 40 attractions. The Land is much more crowded than Disney Sea. Of course this is the most crowded week of the year. We could not even take a picture with Disney characters when we got into the gate because we had to wait very long line just take a picture with popular Disney characters.
First thing we saw after entering the artificial gate buildings is Cinderella’s castle which is the symbol of Land and you can also get inside the castle. However, we decided to play all of rides… forget about the castle this time. I will talk about rides next time…
If you have not visited Tokyo Disney Resort yet, you will have one of your best Disney experiences EVER!
Golden Week was over!!
Based on the official announcement, the total number of tourists during the golden week was 22,796,000 and 566,000 peoples traveled to foreign countries. So wherever I went, there were a lot of people… so crowded.
I am now so exhausted… and bad thing is that all work start today after the long vacation.
I went to Tokyo Disneyland and Izu in the golden week this year.
Tokyo Disneyland, Japanese simply call it “Disneyland” or just “Land” which is the third-most visited theme park in the world, behind its American sister parks, Magic Kingdom in Orlando and Disneyland Park in Anaheim.
The Izu peninsula is a large mountainous peninsula in the west of Tokyo and it is very famous that there are many hot springs.
“Koinobori” – Carp Streamer
In Japan we have a traditional event in May 5th which is children’s day. In that day we place “Koinobori”, carp streamer in the sky. Koinobori is a flag looks like a carp made of fabric.
We put them in honor of children and in the hope that they will grow up healthy and strong.
Typical koinobori is made of a combination of five-color streamers, we call “Fukinagashi” and three (or more) carp streamers. If we do not have enought space to hang koinobori outdoor. you can buy indoor koinobori which is a small size of them.
Odaiba
Today I went to Odaiba. There are shopping malls, restaurants, entertainment area all put together with a great view of Tokyo Bay in Odaiba. Located on an artificial island in Tokyo Bay.
Odaiba is a perfect place for having a day out with family or friends. The Rainbow Bridge connects Odaiba to Tokyo and is an iconic symbol of Tokyo Bay. Rainbow Bridge is a 2500 feet long.
My favorite place is Venus Fort which is huge Shopping mall. It is the Venetian style architecture with ceiling that is made to resemble open skies. The ceiling changes color according to the time of the day.
