Gundam Cafe
Do you know Japanese animation MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM? It’s a robot animation. Characters board the humanoid robot called “Mobil Suit”, and fight with enemies in space. MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM is still popular even though it is in 1979 to appear on TV for the first time.
GUNDAM CAFE is in Akihabra, Tokyo and got popular with GUNDAM fans. There is always crowded so you expect to wait at least 30 min to get seated.
The place has a lot of high-tech gizmo, robots and figures. The food is good! All menu of food are named after of GUNDAM series.
Adachi Museum of Art
The best Japanese garden in the world is at Adachi Museum of Art, in the small town of Yasugi, in Shimane prefecture of western Japan. The Japanese Garden at Adachi Art Museum received “The Best of Japanese Garden” award from an American magazine.
This gardens are ranked by the Journal of Japanese Gardening which evaluates gardens worldwide. Most of the top ten gardens are in Kyoto, but Adachi Museum Garden has been the number one spot for six years by now.
The museum’s founder Adachi Zenko traveled throughout Japan, collecting rocks and plants for the garden. There are a total of six gardens, covering 165, 000 square meters.
You can visit this garden all year bases so enjoy great view of four seasons of Japanese traditional sight.
Katanuma Swamp
Katanuma Swamp is the most acidic lake in Japan where is located in Miyagi prefecture, east of Japan. This is a crater lake, which is estimated to have been created approximately 1,100 years ago. It is a nice lake but the smell is a bit sulfurous. The color of the water changes variously by the weather or the position of the sun in the sky.

Lady Gaga Japanese Cover
TEAM KOZAN covers of Lady Gaga’s “Telephone”(featuring Beyonce) using SHAKUHACHI, Japanese bamboo flute and KOTO, the Japanese Harp.
Kozan Ishikura, leader and Shakuhachi player of the Team Kozan says in his blog. “We Japanese got a lot of help from GAGA 2 years ago. We do not forget gratitude to GAGA. We wish GAGA complete recovery and we are waiting for comeback”.
I haven’t heard Gaga’s song like this before!

Ueda Sanada Festival – continued
In Ueda Sanada Festival, people were buying a lot worrier goods such as a historical civil war era uniform, Sanada cup and strap and etc. because the boom for warrior is spreading all over Japan. Some of the stores were selling local goods.
I ate a hot pot, call “Ninja Nabe”. People reproduced the hot pot Ninja ate in civil war era. It was a lot of ingredients inside and like miso soup. It was pretty good and I was able to have fun in Ueda Sanada Festival.
