Kotohikihama Beach, Kyoto
A very beautiful beach located in Kyoto Prefecture. This beach is called Kotohikihama, which literally means “koto”-harp playing beach, because when people walk on the beach, rubbing the sand with their feet, they can hear the “kyu-kyu” sound of a koto (Japanese harp) playing.
