Dogo Hot spring, Ehime
Nibukawa Hot Spring is a natural hot spring near Imabari in Ehime Pref. It’s waters have traditionally been known for their curative properties. A soak in the hot spring water is incredibly relaxing. The Dogo Onsen is supposed to be the oldest hot springs resort in Japan. The main building is a wooden bath house built in the late 1800s.

The historical rows of this teahouse town along with Kyoto’s Gion and Kanazawa’s Kazue-machi have been designated as Japan’s cultural assets. Jingu Gaien Ginkgo Festival
Jingu Gaien Ginkgo Festival begins as autumn turns the surrounding ginkgo leaves yellow. There are temporary stalls selling noted products from different regions of Japan, and street performers giving live shows for the duration of the festival. Festival will continue until Dec 8th, 2014.
