Police Station 警察署

The building in the picture is an example of a police station. It is called keisatsusho (警察署) in Japanese. It is a little different from the police box known as koban, which are substations of the police headquarter in the prefecture. My friend who was driving pointed it out to me and said to be careful to not break the law or I will end up there. Truthfully the place looked adorable and not intimidating. It was good to know what a police station looks like and the symbol to look out for.
Umeda Sky Building, Osaka

Night time in a major city has to be experience from high place. On this trip we decided to go to the Umeda Sky Building for the Floating Garden Observatory in Osaka. It is up 40 stories and has breath taking views, but there was something my friends and I noticed. There were a lot of couples around us. I mean it is romantic to look out into the nightscape with your significant other and all, but there were A LOT of couples. While exploring the top I stumbled upon this love area with hundreds of heart shaped padlocks attached to the fence. There was a seating area to take a commemorative photo and enjoy the view. I recommend people to visit here and know at night there will be a many couples there.
Cherry Blossom Flavored Cake

Cherry blossoms are a loved plant, but there is another thing that comes along during the season. Limited edition Sakura flavored goods from cakes to ice cream. I always wondered what cherry blossom tasted like and I still do not know how to describe. It was delicious and it is a travesty that it is only available for a limited time. It is just another reason to go to Japan when the cherry blossom season rolls around and try all the limited flavor items.
Wedding at Tokyo Disney Sea

As a bonus for going to Tokyo Disney Sea that day my friends and I saw this wedding reception. It was pretty cool because it was on the gondola ride with someone playing the accordion. I have no idea what the lady on the right was doing, but I think she was taking pictures. The whole affair was a pleasant surprise. Although I wonder how much it cost to do all of it.
