Yokohama Chinatown

Yokohama Chinatown “Chukagai” is the largest of Japan’s Chinatowns and is located in the heart of Yokohama. There are Four Chinese gates stand at the main entrances to the district and a further five within. You can enjoy Chinese ramen dishes and famous chinese steamed buns (manju) there. Due to the growing number of tourists visiting Yokohama Chinatown, now there are over 250 Chinese restaurants and souvenir shops available.

Chidorigafuchi, Tokyo

*Sakura Series & Update* – Chidorigafuchi is one of the moats of the Imperial Palace. Cherry blossom trees line both sides of the moat giving it a layered covered look. In the evenings the trees are lit giving the place and the water in the moat a glittering look. Boats may be hired for rides on Chidorigafuchi and food stalls line the paved road running alongside the moat. The falling petals of the Sakura covering the water also a good view during your boat rowing.

Night Sakura 2015

Hanami at night is called “yozakura” literally means night sakura. In many famous parks & walking lane throughout the city will have some light-up event to view the sakura at night. The 1st picture shows some beautiful sakura tree near Mitsukoshi, Nihonbashi area in Tokyo

Sakura in Kyoto

*Sakura series & update* – Kyoto becomes incredibly popular during cherry blossom season. “Sakura” usually bloom in the last week of March and the first two weeks of April in Kyoto. Most of the temples & certain streets provide stunning cherry blossom panoramas.
