Dotonbori-gawa canal, Osaka
Dotonbori in Osaka is thronged with an unbelievable number of restaurants and amusement facilities, and is dearly loved by the locals. The so called sushi-art fun event was held today at the Dotonbori -gawa canal.
Aqua City Odaiba
Odaiba is one of Tokyo’s most popular tourist attractions with a wide selection of shopping, dining and leisure options. Picture shows Aqua City Odaiba a huge shopping center that has a wide range of shops & dining area & at the back of it is the famous Fuji TV building.
Asahi Beer Headquarters
A snap of the Asahi Beer Headquarters from the Sensoji Temple. There are two main buildings, the biggest building standing 100 meters tall resembles a giant beer jug complete with a foam shaped white roof. The shorter building is known as the Super Dry Hall. It is a black building in the shape of a beer glass, with an enormous golden flame shaped object perched on top. The 22nd floor of the Asahi Super Dry Building houses two of Japan’s most popular bars, along with some good restaurants.

Hiroshima, A-bomb dome
The “Genbaku” dome or widely known as A-bomb dome in Hiroshima, being the closest structure to withstand the explosion, has been preserved in the same state as immediately after the bombing, now serving as a reminder of nuclear devastation, a symbol of hope for world peace. Autumnal flowers blooming across the river bank provide you another great shot of the dome.
Omusubi set plate
“Omusubi” or Japanese rice ball come in many shapes and sizes, and can be stuffed or topped with things like spicy tuna, salmon, shrimp tempura, eel, seaweed, edamame, etc. Some are triangle shaped, and wrapped in seaweed, others are round balls of rice, topped with something delicious. Omusubi is meant to be entirely portable, and can be eaten for breakfast, lunch or a snack.
