Our Luxury Japan Cherry Blossom Tour offers the best choice cuisine, extraordinary experiences and the most luxurious accommodations.

This seasonal 8-day luxury tour showcases the delicate beauty of springtime in Japan found in one of the nation's most popular and enduring cultural symbols: the cherry blossoms. This luxury cherry blossom tour is perfect for first-time visitors, with an itinerary that everyone in your travel group can enjoy. You will stay in first-rate accommodations and enjoy quality cuisine options while visiting Japan’s top attractions in Tokyo, Hakone, and Kyoto. Our Luxury Japan Cherry Blossom Tour offers travelers the chance to experience unique cultural activities while visiting the best spots to see cherry blossoms. Japan is famous for its cherry blossoms, a sight every visitor should see at least once. Their beauty is short lived and can be seen during the months of late March and early April.

This itinerary begins in Tokyo, where you'll see Chidorigafuchi - the moat surrounding the Imperial Palace - with hundreds of waterside cherry trees covering the water in the delicate blooms. Travel historic Asakusa in a rickshaw pulled by a friendly Japanese guide, and learn the Taiko drum as you play fun and exciting rhythms with an expert drummer. You can also experience a busy Japanese fish market, as well as a class in sushi making with a professional chef. Continue from there to Hakone, and enjoy views of breathtaking and iconic Mt. Fuji.

At last, the tour concludes in Kyoto, with visits to the shimmering Golden Pavilion of Ashikaga Yoshimitsu, the dramatic stage of Kiyomizu Temple or walks beneath the reddish gates of Fushimi Inari, each artfully complemented by the well-arranged cherry trees. Immerse yourself in the artistry and beauty of Kyoto's kimono culture as you walk through rows of brightly colored pillars in the Kimono Forest, and take a class in Calligraphy and Ikebana - Japanese flower-arranging), in an old wooden townhouse. In addition, travelers can experience a traditional green tea ceremony and learn Zen meditation, savor Buddhist vegetarian cuisine inside a real temple, and enjoy a traditional Japanese kaiseki dinner with a Maiko Performance in Kyoto's Gion Geisha District.

If you would like more time to enjoy Japan in lavish style, ask our travel specialists about adding a custom pre- tour or post-tour extension to your luxury tour. Plan an extra day or two to take a train to Hiroshima, Miyajima Island, or Naoshima Art Island, or take off to a different region of Japan for extensions such as hiking the Kumano Kodo Pilgrimage Route, exploring Kyushu on the Seven Stars of Kyushu Luxury train, or adventuring to any other destination in Japan that might capture your interest!
