On this tour, you will look deeply into the culture and soul of Japan by visits to festival, museums, temples, shrines, castles, and gardens. The highlights of the Gion Festival is the Yamaboko on the 17th. Festival vendors line the streets and traditional Japanese festival music (matsuri- bayashi) is played all over. Yamaboko is the procession of colorful floats through downtown Kyoto. The floats are pulled through the streets by teams of men dressed in traditional costumes. Each of the large floats carries musicians. The floats are decorated with tapestries or fabrics from Nishijin, Kyoto .

Begin in Osaka, you visit the majestic castle at Himeji and the canal town of Kurashiki. In Hiroshima, visit the Peace Memorial Museum and Park then head on to Miyajima to view the famed vermilion Torii Gate of Itsukushima Shrine. At high tide, the gates look like they're floating on the sea. You can also enhance your cooking skills by learning to make Okonomiyaki, a popular Japanese dish. In the Shikoku Island, you will visit the Ritsurin Garden in Takamatsu, climb the 1,368 stone steps to the Konpirasan, enjoy a relaxing boat ride, and take in the panoramic views of the Oboke Gorge. We will take you visit Nara, where you will be inspired by the intricate architecture and towering monuments, including the Great Buddha statue, and you'll understand why this city is considered the birthplace of Buddhism in Japan. Spend three days in the ancient city of Kyoto, where you will have exclusive access to the city's gardens, temples, shrines, and the Gion Festival. You'll also get the opportunity to experience a green tea ceremony and watch a kimono fashion show.

Visit Miho Museum, a stunning architecture that accentuates the surrounding nature while exhibiting a variety of items from different ancient civilizations. It was designed by the renowned architect, I. M. Pei, and is named after Koyama Mihoko, one of the richest women in Japan and the founder of the museum. Moreover, the museum has been listed as one of the "1000 Places To See Before You Die". From there, visit Koka Ninja Mansion. This mansion used to be resided in by ninja, equipped with many ingenious traps and devices, designed to prevent intruders and to provide a means of escape in times of need. Then proceed to Toyota Kaikan Museum, you will see demonstrations of concept cars that have not yet been developed for street use. Next, take a Shinkansen (bullet train) ride for experience, stay at a Onsen Hotel (Japanese style room), where you can unwind in the hot springs and dine on gourmet kaiseki cuisine.

Spend a day at Hakone and Mt. Fuji. Enjoy a guided tour in Tokyo. Visit Tokyo's cultural landmarks, fashionable neighborhoods and diverse shopping districts. Explore world famous attractions like Shibuya, Asakusa, Imperial Palace, Tokyo Tower, and Odaiba. On this tour you will also have a chance to savor the world famous Wagyu beef in Kobe. This itinerary is perfect for those who want to visit the well known regions of Japan.
