\"\"<\/a>As I was in the school years, I visited this place a couple times. I looked back then, I did not know what the real meaning of this place and the places where are surrounding area. I have started deeply rearizing the meaning and trasitions and people’s perspectives that can reflect to people’s lives. The ideas are the accumulations of the culture and history. You can take take time and observe and\u00a0absorb the culture itself, take deep breath and enjoy the moments\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Nikk<\/strong>\u014d<\/strong> T<\/strong>\u014d<\/strong>sh<\/strong>\u014d<\/strong>-g<\/strong>\u016b<\/strong> (\u65e5\u5149\u6771\u7167\u5bae) <\/sup>is a Shinto shrine<\/span><\/a> located in Nikk\u014d<\/span><\/a>, Tochigi Prefecture<\/span><\/a>, Japan<\/span><\/a>. It is part of the “Shrines and Temples of Nikk\u014d<\/span><\/a>“, a UNESCO<\/span><\/a> World Heritage Site<\/span><\/a>.\"\"<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

To-sho-gu is dedicated to Tokugawa Ieyasu<\/span><\/a>, the founder of the Tokugawa shogunate<\/span><\/a>. Initially built in 1617, during the Edo period<\/span><\/a>, while Ieyasu’s son Hidetada<\/span><\/a> was shogun<\/span><\/a>, it was enlarged during the time of the third shogun, Iemitsu<\/span><\/a>. Ieyasu is enshrined here, and his remains are entombed here.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the Edo period, the Tokugawa shogunate carried out stately processions from Edo<\/span><\/a> to the Nikk\u014d T\u014dsh\u014d-g\u016b along the Nikk\u014d Kaid\u014d<\/span><\/a>. The shrine’s annual spring and autumn festivals reenact these occasions, and are known as “processions of a thousand warriors.”<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
