It is a battle motif which happened here twice in the end of the 16th century. It is very  attractive for people who is crazy about history.<br \/>\n2000 Sanada Army beat 8000 Tokugawa Army in Ueda city in the first battle of Ueda in 1585. 32000 Tokugawa Army attacked Ueda castle in the second battle of Ueda in 1600. However they couldn&#8217;t beat it so they gave up.<br \/>\nThis festival reproduce real Sanada Army and people who wear the civil war era uniform walk in the city.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I went to Ueda Sanada Festival.
