Kanazawa station
When you travel to Kanazawa by train you will see a very unique glass dome called “Motenashi (Welcome) Dome,” which looks like a huge umbrella, at the east entrance of the station. The dome has a wooden gate called “Tsuzumi-mon,” which symbolizes a traditional Japanese instrument called tsuzumi (hand drums). In the underground of the dome there is an event space & some shopping quarters too.
Tokyo city view, Roppongi Hills
Roppongi Hills is a building complex that caters from lodging to restaurants and entertainment. The main tower, Mori Tower, offers a fantastic view of Tokyo city from the observation deck. The Mori Tower also features the 238 meter high, open air Sky Deck on the roof of the building with exhilarating, 360 degree views over the city. harajuku
Takeshita Street is the famous Harajuku shopping street that begins just outside of the “Takeshita Exit” of Harajuku Station. Approximately 400 meters long stretching from the front of the station of Takeshita Exit through to Meiji-dori Street. The street is popular with young people who are attracted to shops that sell goods of famous celebrities & some cute clothes shops. Besides shopping there are numerous of delicious crepe shops as well.
Meiji Shrine, Tokyo
Perhaps you can take a morning stroll at Tokyo’s most famous Shinto shrine – Meiji Jingu. It is wonderfully serene and the 40-foot-high torii gate at the entrance to the 200-acre park is made of 1,500-year-old cypress. You will get to see the 2nd torii gate after some good walk closer to the shrine itself.
Shinjuku Gyoen National Park
Once you enter Shinjuku Gyoen you’ll be amazed that you are in an urban oasis, an escape from the big city – the busiest station in the world & one of Tokyo’s busiest shopping district. The view of the NTT Docomo building in between of the greenery is just great. And you can enjoy full-bloom of Hydrangea flowers now in this season. It deserves a visit if you are in the Shinjuku area.
