Nanakusa Gayu
“Nanakusa Gayu” or “Rice porridge with seven herbs” on January 7 ” Nanakusa Gayu” is a custom handed down from the 10th, the Heian period. On the morning of January, Japanese eat the porridge with seven herbs and pray for good health.
