Water cake, Yamanashi Pref.

mochi-11-dsc04465_r1This mizu shingen mochi (water cake) from famous Kinseiken store in Hokuto City is transparent and delightfully soft! The water cake jelly is made of water from a renowned water source in the Southern Japanese Alps, and has a pleasant natural sweetness. Add in the richness of soybean powder and brown sugar syrup  it goes down incredibly smooth & the taste is really amazing.
