a day at Hakone
and Mt. Fuji
, then experience a Shinkansen bullet
train ride before transferring to Kanzanji
Onsen. There you'll stay at a ryokan
(traditional inn), where you can unwind in the
hot
springs and dine on gourmet kaiseki
cuisine. Visit the Toyota Kaikan
Museum and spend two days in the ancient
city of Kyoto
. The gardens and temples in Kyoto that
you will visit have been chosen because of their
reputation as the
"best places to view cherry blossoms."
You'll also get the opportunity
to experience a green tea ceremony
, taste sake and watch a kimono fashion
show. At the ancient capital of Nara, you will
visit Todaiji
Temple and a deer park
where 1,000 Sika deer roam free. You will
also
visit Osaka
Castle and have a chance to see why Osaka is
called the "night life city."
Visit the famous Himeji Castle
and the photogenic canal area of Kurashiki. In
Hiroshima
, visit the Peace Memorial
Museum and Park, then head on to Miyajima to
view the famed vermilion Torii Gate of Itsukushima Shrine
. At high tide, the gates look like they're
floating on the sea. You can
also enhance your cooking skills by learning to
make Okonomiyaki, a
popular Japanese dish. In Shikoku Island, you will
visit the Ritsurin
Garden in Takamatsu,
climb the 1,368 stone steps to the Kotohira-gu Shrine
, enjoy a relaxing boat ride, and take in the
panoramic views of the Oobokekyo Gorge.
On this tour you will also have a chance to savor
the world famous Wagyu beef
in Kobe. This
