Although winter is not a popular time to visit
Japan like spring, summer
and autumn, there are plenty of reasons for
choosing the winter to visit
Japan. Except for the extreme north, winter

relatively mild and dry,
and is generally comfortable in Japan. This tour
features winter attractions
and "must see" sights of Tokyo &
Kyoto
. You will be able to see a variety of
winter scenes and attractions that

snow
monkeys bathe in the warm waters of
thermal pools against an icy mountain backdrop,
catch the first blooms of Kawazu
Cherry, and participate in the
Plum
Blossoms Festival in Atami.
Kawazu
Cherry blossoms begins to bloom in
January or February. They are some of the earliest
cherry blossoms to bloom and they also stay in
full bloom longer than the
Somei Yoshino cherry blossoms, which is the most
common kind of cherry
blossoms in Japan. Hence, you have more chances to
catch the best of the
cherry blossoms during your trip.
